Belfast Academy of Marketing offers professional marketing courses from the Chartered Institute of Marketing. We offer learning delivery methods to complement a busy professional to further their career.
We also offer one-day marketing workshops in specialist disciplines which can be tailored to suit your organisations needs.
Our head office and delivery venue are both in North Belfast with full provision of all our services. We provide face to face classes in superb accommodation, close to the centre of each city.

Meet the Team
Frank McKee
Principal
Frank, a freelance marketing educator with over 30 years experience as a sales and marketing consultant and founder of Belfast Academy of Marketing.
In 2014 he suffered a significant stroke that left him with mobility and communication challenges. He has aphasia which means he relies on others to help with reading and writing, despite his intellect remaining intact.
Prior to his stroke, Frank wrote, delivered and assessed courses, seminars and workshops for institutions such as Chartered Institute of Marketing, Belfast Metropolitan College, Queen’s University Belfast and the Open University, as well as many other respected public and private sector organisations.
He was a visiting tutor at Henley Management College on the International Executive MBA programme, a Senior Examiner for the Chartered Institute of Marketing and Subject Examiner for a number of professional and academic awarding institutions. He is a CIM Fellow, Chartered Marketer and published author.
As founder of Belfast Academy of Marketing, Frank has left a firm footprint on the industry which was recognised in May 2024 when he was awarded Marketing Maestro at the Remarkable Marketing Awards for his lifetime dedication to the marketing industry. As he is now semi-retired he has more time to enjoy personal interests. Van Morrison, Liverpool Football Club and cycling to name a few!
Danielle Spackman
Manager
Danielle has over 15 years experience working in Operations. She has worked with various high profile organisations within Ireland and joined Belfast Academy of Marketing in September 2012 in a consultancy role.
Danielle is responsible for the organisations’ customer service and implementing a strategy that works to complement the needs of our students and customers whilst achieving the goals for the business.

Danielle is a CIM Professional Affiliate member and qualified marketer. She also works as a consultant supporting businesses with Marketing and Business Strategy.
Dolores Campbell-Quigg
Senior Associate
Dolores has brought to BAM a wealth of experience in education and particularly CIM. Dolores has taught in Belfast Met, SERC (both at Downpatrick and Lisburn) and Oxford College of Marketing.During this time Dolores was awarded CIM lecturer of the year.
In addition, Dolores is currently an examiner with the CIM and has over 30 years of a relationship with them.
Dolores has considerable experience with the Scottish Education Authority and is the author of a Comtemporary Marketing module at level 5.
Dolores also brings industry experience with her, both local and international, working mainly in the food industry.
She loves to cook and travel.
Kate has more than 20 years’ experience in marketing communications and business development, with a proven track record in the design and delivery of marketing campaigns. She has delivered successful marketing plans on a local, national and international basis to meet business objectives and maximise opportunities for organisations in both the public and private sector.
Kate has extensive experience of managing a training business including the development of policies and procedures for quality management, event management and administration. She is also a CIPD qualified trainer and has practical experience of training design and delivery for a large number of public sector organisations.
Kate has been a CIM Tutor for Belfast Academy of Marketing since the doors opened and has supported hundreds of students on all levels of qualifications.
Damian is a professional marketing, digital marketing, and social media mentor, coach, trainer, and consultant with over 30 years in the communications industry. He has delivered 1000s of hours of mentoring and training to 100s of start-ups and businesses across Ireland, north and south.
In addition to being a CIM tutor for Belfast Academy of Marketing he also develops and delivers training workshops on a range of digital marketing subjects, including social media, copywriting, content marketing, digital marketing planning, Search Engine Optimisation, and web and social media analytics.
Damian holds a Diploma in Digital Marketing from the CAM Foundation and is an InterTradeIreland approved digital marketing provider.
Lydia McClelland is a Chartered Marketer and a qualified Executive Coach. Lydia has held senior marketing, business development, and general management roles in the economic development, Arts, Higher Education and the Visitor Attraction/Science Centre sectors for over 18 years. She is passionate about supporting business growth through a strategic approach to marketing and now works with a range of private and public sector clients on business and marketing consultancy projects.
Lydia has tutored on CIM Diploma and Postgraduate Diploma level courses since 2003 with Castlereagh College (now Belfast Met) and Belfast Academy of Marketing.
Lydia is our tutor on the Level 6 modules Resource Management and Innovation in Marketing.
Tierna Byrne helps small business owners with designing their brand, refining their marketing strategy and using creative online content as a way of standing out in a crowded market. She founded her marketing, branding & design business in 2019 www.tiernabyrne.co.uk and has a Diploma in Professional Marketing from the Chartered Institute Of Marketing and a degree in Design For Visual Communication. She is also a previous student of the Belfast Academy Of Marketing.
With her unique background in design & marketing she specialises in using creative content in small business marketing strategies and also mentors small business owners in marketing and branding. She previously led the marketing team for Catalyst (formerly NI Science Park) and prior to that worked as an in-house designer for several years where she managed the design for global and local brands.
Jane Roper is a Marketing Specialist with Co-Ownership, Northern Ireland’s regional provider of Shared Ownership. Jane was part of the team that delivered the organisation’s digital transformation in 2018. Passionate about marketing strategy and aware of some entrepreneurs confusion about what marketing actually is, she founded Behind the Ad in 2020.
Through her consultancy, Jane works with Micro/Small businesses to develop the role of Marketing within their organisation. Her responses when asked to explain what she does, “I take the ‘huh?’ out of marketing.”
In 2021 Jane was awarded the Worldwide Winner for the CIM Level 6 Digital Diploma which she studied for through the Belfast Academy of Marketing.
