A New Partnership to Help Organisations Thrive in Marketing

The marketing function in any organisation has often been misunderstood by anyone outside of marketing but with thanks to organisations like the Chartered Institute of Marketing leading the way in professionalising the skills of marketers and leading the way in thought leadership the adage is starting to be overcome.

On a local level, Belfast Academy of Marketing and the Hays NI marketing recruitment team have formed a partnership with the aspiring to build knowledge by launching a series of joint events to help employers and marketers understand how they can bridge the gap in their skills. By identifying trends in the industry through analysis of recruitment campaigns and sought after skills the events will be based around supporting clients to improve their marketing function with the right people, suitably qualified in marketing and further opportunities to provide team members the opportunity to upskill.

We held a round-table event hosted in the Hays NI offices which included Andrew Wallace, Sustainability Consultant; Paul Gosling, Hays Specialism Director: Sustainability and Belfast Academy of Marketing team members. With a focus on what sustainability means for organisations and how this relates to the marketing team, the event highlighted the need for further discussion and training on the subject.

With ESG leading the way on every organisation’s strategy it is important to ensure all your people are geared up to meet your objectives. With that in mind Belfast Academy of Marketing is launching a Sustainable Marketing Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing starting with the Sustainability Award this September.

The Hays NI & Belfast Academy of Marketing partnership supports organisations by offering exclusive discounts for clients for their existing marketing teams or to help bolster recruitment through providing opportunities for marketers to grow and develop in their field.
